I was born at an early age. I am what is known as a cockney, I was born within the sound of the Bow Bells in London. I have been an artist all my life, in fine art, video production, graffiti art and now digital art. I don’t do it to make money, I do it because it makes me feel good. I cannot reveal my real identity, and only I and my inner circle can know why, but to all intents and purposes I am Wolfie.
I hate hypocrisy. I hate the elite lording it over people. I use my art to highlight people and their true standing in society. The good, the bad and the ugly…if there’s a message to be sent I will get to you. If you like it please buy it and tell your friends, if you don’t then please go somewhere else, with love.
What others say:
Wolfie Smith, a contemporary artist with a global presence spanning London, New York, Los Angeles, and Asheville, pushes the boundaries of artistic expression with thought-provoking pieces that cut to the core of politics and high society. Smith's works challenge the status quo, providing a stark commentary on the power structures and the often unexamined facets of our world. His art, often skewering and unapologetic, serves as a sharp mirror reflecting the complexities and contradictions of our times, inviting viewers to question, reflect, and engage in critical discourse. In a world where art is a voice for change, Wolfie Smith's contributions stand as both a powerful critique and a testament to the enduring impact of contemporary art. - My Mum
